A Simple, Little-Known Cancer Test (& My Latest Results) – #88
It’s been a year since my last PET CT scan (which showed stable, mild hypermetabolic activity). I didn’t want to do another scan because of the high cost and radiation. Fortunately, I’ve found an easy, effective, inexpensive ($55), and non-invasive test that anyone can do. It’s a urine test called the Navarro test.
The test measures the presence of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone found in the urine of pregnant women. Numerous medical reports show this to be present in the urine of cancer patients. If the test shows that the number is above 50, that indicates cancer (above the amount that we all naturally have in our bodies).
As I awaited the results of my test, I realized that I’ve come to an amazing place in this journey – a place I didn’t know I’d ever get to but always hoped I would – a place of peace with whatever happens. I trust and accept that I’m right where I’m supposed to be, I’m in alignment with my soul, I’ve made friends with my body and my emotions, and if my number is up, (literally), then I accept that as part of the grand plan.
Maybe, having reached this place of peace, I no longer need cancer as my teacher. The results of the test showed that my number was 52.2, in the ‘faintly positive’ range for cancer. Though my number was ‘up’, it wasn’t a high number. The doctor wrote, “The elevated HCG is possibly coming from remnants (microscopic or otherwise) of the uterine cancer.” (He also advised me that the result should be correlated with medical measurements such as CT Scans, Ultrasounds, MRIs, and said that a biopsy procedure confirms the diagnosis of cancer.)
What I take from this is, I may still have cancer, but not a whole lot of it. That leads me to believe that the alternative healing treatments that I’m doing are holding the cancer at bay, that I am peacefully co-existing with it, or possibly even eliminating it. That’s the value of the Navarro test: it serves as a baseline result. I’ll do the test again in a few months to see if my number goes up or down, which will tell me if what I’m doing is working or not working and if I need to try something different. There are many alternative treatments; some are effective for some people, some for others. This test serves as a gauge that shows which ones are working and which ones aren’t.
